“But of the times and seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.” I Thessalonians 5:1,2
I believe that it is time for us as ministers to sound the trumpet and warn everyone including the churches that Jesus is coming. Not every church preaches this message and it is our desire is to reach the lost before the return of Christ. My heart’s desire is that God will revive his people, the church once again.
The Psalmist David cried out to the Lord in Psalms 85:6 “Wilt thou revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?” This should be the cry of every saint that desires true revival to come.
God has placed a message on my heart to share with the church as well as the world, so with his help I must obey His will. I truly believe with all my heart that we are living in the last days and the coming of Christ is imminent. There are many people in the world and even in the mainstream churches who are lost and without Christ.
It is sad to say, that many professing Christians are not prepared for His return. As ministers, it is our responsibility to preach the Gospel that every sinner may know that Christ is the way of salvation, and that every saint may never forget the price that was paid.
The Bible tells us that Jesus will come again soon, and when He does, He will come like a thief in the night, when we least expect it. Just as a thief comes for his precious jewels, Jesus will come for His precious people.
I am available to speak at church services, revival services, men’s meetings, or regular services. If you believe it is God's will for me to come and share this message with you, then I pray that God will have His way.
“And he said unto them, go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.” Mark 16:15,16
Christ has given us a great commission to go out into the world and preach the gospel wherever we go. As Christians we miss out on so many opportunities to share the gospel with people.
God wants to lead us throughout our day to speak to those who need to hear this gospel message. Every believer has an individual responsibility to share the gospel with whoever God brings in their lives.
God has given me an evangelism plan called the Neighborhood Watch Program. It is an evangelism program designed to involve all believers who have a desire to see souls saved.
This program is based on the story told by Jesus concerning the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37). There are many people that we pass by daily that have been stripped, beaten and left to die by the thief of life, which is satan (John 10:10).
We pass people in school, work, supermarkets, and other various places throughout the day that we can share the gospel with. How can we share the gospel with the world if we cannot even share it with our neighbors?
Neighborhood Watch Program:
1. Plow the ground so that it is fertile for the seed – Pray for your community, city, and country.
2. Plant the seed of truth and trust God for the harvest – Preach the gospel to your neighbor.
3. Rejoice as you trust God for the harvest to come – Praise the Lord for the harvest
“The truth will make you free.” St. John 8:32
Seeing the need and hearing the call of God, he has purposed in our hearts a need to take the gospel to the incarcerated harvest of the world.
We realize the prison system has failed tremendously and fallen short of the initial intentions of rehabilitation. We acknowledge that if it had not been for the grace of God, we could have been in the same predicament. So we are compelled by Christ to visit those who are incarcerated that they may see the love of Christ in us.
Our sole purpose is to follow in the footsteps of our savior Jesus Christ, “To preach deliverance to the captives.” (Luke 4:18)
Our goal is not only to see souls saved in the prison, but to make an impact on their lives so that when they get out, they become a productive part of society.
There is a major problem within the prison system called recidivism. Recidivism is a tendency to relapse into a previous condition or mode of behavior. It is when a person is released from prison and goes back to prison for the same criminal activity.
The only thing that will stop the cycle of recidivism is a genuine encounter with Jesus Christ. That is the only thing that will break this cycle!
Five ways we believe will lower the percentage of recidivism:
J – Confess Jesus as your savior and believe with him all things are possible
E – Be encouraged knowing that Jesus is the key for your deliverance and victory
S – Stop justifying criminal activity; it is the truth that will set you free
U – Unify with other Christians for support and prayer
S – Start believing God for a miracle to break the cycle of recidivism and bondage
“Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.” 2 Corinthians 1:3,4
There are many elderly people that have been discarded and placed into nursing homes who are sick and without visits from family members.
We believe it is our responsibility as Christians to bring them the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is a joy to see the elderly smile when we come to visit and minister to them.
The same comfort Christ has given us is the same comfort that many of these elderly men and women need from us. Many of them are widows and widowers who need to be loved.
The Bible says, “pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.” James 1:22
